Designers

Independent designers create the keycap profiles. We collaborate with each one, from first sketch to finished set.

How our keycap projects get made

Every project is a partnership, and a real commitment on both sides. Here's how new keycap profiles come together.

The spark

Every designer we work with is already deep in the ergo, Choc or Topre scene. It begins with an idea they believe in, and the will to make it real and get it onto people's boards.

The graft

Turning 3D files into a profile you can build with takes months and rarely runs in a straight line. We've done it enough times to carry each project through the hard parts.

The harvest

We don't buy a design and move on. Designers take a commission on every set, so a profile keeps paying them for as long as it sells. The terms are plain and agreed up front, and they're credited by name across our store.

We work with independent designers on every profile. If you've got something cool in the works, the conversation usually starts there.
